CBS 8 News is covering Greenville where police say 5 people have been arrested in connection with a burglary from last month.

Greenville Police say Harley Knight, Randi Jay and Jonathan Minaird are all charged with burglary after allegedly breaking in to a home while the owners were out of town and stealing thousands of dollars worth of guns and other items.

The other 2 suspects are juveniles.

Investigators were able to recover nearly $4,000 in weapons, which they say had sentimental value to the home owners.

"In this case, the guns were pretty sentimental and were handed down through other family members and they really cherished them so to be able to give something like that back to a victim it's what makes this job," says Justin Lovvorn.

Police say they are still searching for 2 rifles.

The 3 adult suspects are out of jail on bond.
