Arrest Made in Georgiana Woman's Murder

Police have made an arrest in the murder of a 72-year-old Georgiana woman.

Butler Co. Sheriff Kenny Harden says Sean McClain of Georgiana has been charged with murder in the death of Dorothy Leatherwood.

Authorities say he lived just two houses down.

Leatherwood was found dead in her home on Wise Street in Georgiana exactly one month ago today.

A friend had stopped by to pick her up for Bible study and discovered her body.
