A man learns his fate for charges of attempted murder and sexual torture...

The Covington County District Attorney's office says Raul Mariano Del Toro pled guilty to the charges.

He received two life sentences for holding a woman inside an Andalusia home against her will and terrorizing her all night long.

It happened in April of 2011. The DA's office says Del Toro repeatedly told the woman he was going to kill her and forced her in a car at gunpoint the next morning.

That's when the victim grabbed the steering wheel while Del Torro was driving and he shot her three times, laterater abandoning her.
