In Greenville, children born after the September 11th attacks get the chance to remember that terrible day by spending it with their own hometown heroes...

Dozens of 4-year olds from Fort Dale Academy brought lunch to members of the Greenville Fire Department to thank them for all they do.

The children met the firefighters, learned about their jobs, and even got to hop on a firetruck.

This has been an annual tradition for 10 years.. to help the children understand the importance of 9-11 in history.
