Greenville's Haunted Firehouse has been ranked as one of Alabama's top 10 Haunted Houses Worth The Drive To by AL.com.

John Haire, a volunteer with the Haunted Firehouse says they have changed nearly 70 percent of the rooms in the house including the addition of a system that gives each room it's own sounds and smells, and expanding a 3-D section around the outside of the house.

The Haunted House is the only fundraiser Greenville Firefighters hold each year, and he says up to 60 percent of the money raised goes back into the community, "A lot of the proceeds are used for the American Breast Cancer Society, you know, Relay for Life, MDA, we just distribute it throughout the different organizations at different times during the year."

Haire says they have had nearly 4,000 people through the gates in the two weekends it has been open, and they are expecting an increase as it get closer to Halloween.

Tickets are $7.00 and it's open from 7:00pm to 11:00pm Fridays and Saturdays in October, on Halloween, and the first weekend in November.
