People in Greenville are celebrating America's independence...

The United Methodist Church in Greenville hosted its 6th Annual Independence Day celebration, where patriotic music filled the air as folks packed Confederate Park. There was plenty of food, fun, and kids even took to the pavement and cycled through the streets during the childrens parade.

Later this evening, the city will be hosting Celebrate America at Greenville High School's Tiger Stadium. The event begins at 7:30 p.m. and fireworks will start at 9 p.m.
