An armed robbery at a Greenville Convenience store several weeks ago has police still looking for whoever is responsible...

The robbery was caught on video -- and it's been an investigation that's been going on for almost a month -- and police are still looking for the suspect.

CBS 8 attained surveillance video from the Greenville Police Department of an armed robbery at the Max Mart convenient store off South Conecuh St. It happened on the night of September 27th around 8:15 when a man entered the store with a pistol. Police say he threatened the clerk and got away with about $150 dollars in cash.

"Of course I worry about it," Said Quinn Simmons, the victim's co-worker. "Just hoping it wouldn't happen while I'm here. But I hate that it happened to him and actually, he's a nice guy, he's nice to all the customers, but just hoping that they will find the bad guy and that it doesn't happen again."

The suspect is described as a black male between the age of 28 to 30, about 5'10" and about 150 lbs -- and police say, although they have him on video, now, they just want him caught.

"Since that time we've followed certain leads... Attempted to develop a suspect on it. We have some evidence at the crime scene that we're still processing and hope to develop leads off of that, as well," Said GPD Chief Investigator, Justin Lovvorn.

Investigators say they believe the suspect is still in the Greenville area and they're asking for you help. If you have any information on who did this, call the Greenville Police Department at 334-382-7461.
