By Catalina Trivino

Law enforcement officers gather in Greenville for their annual police memorial...

About 2 hundred people attended the dedication at Lurleen B. Wallace Community College... All to commemorate the lives of officers who were killed in the line of duty.

The Greenville Police Department has lost three officers over the years -- in 1904, 1966, and 1994.

Butler County Sheriff's Office deputies John Sanders, Senior and William Henry Barganier were also remembered for giving their lives in the line of duty.

Lt. Kenneth Parker, a canine officer, was awarded officer of the year for capturing an armed robber and doing the largest drug seizure in the history of the police department.
