Several current and former basketball players have been arrested in connection with a string of burglaries in Andalusia... Andalusia Police say Derrick Johnson, Mitchell Liles, Joshua Wimblerly and Jordan Wimblerly broke into Lurleen B. Wallace Community College, as well as several other businesses around the area. They are charged with several counts of burglary, criminal mischief and theft of property. Three of the suspects played at one time for the LBW basketball team. Authorities say the men stole money, and caused property and other damages totaling more than thirteen thousand dollars. "It's a shame that someone jeopardizes their future when they're given opportunities, such as these gentleman were, through scholarships to get an education," Said Andalusia criminal investigator, Liutenant Paul Dean. Investigators say LBW's high quality surveilance video helped identify two of the suspects. LBW administrators would not comment on the case.
