Greenville city leaders and Butler County officials team up with child advocacy agencies for Child Abuse Prevention Awareness month that includes lots of blue ribbons.

Healthy Kids Incorporated and Children's Trust Fund of Alabama kicked off the month of April, sporting the color blue in a news conference this morning.

All month, they will sell t-shirts and blue ribbons throughout the county, to raise money for children who need it most.

The campaign is also an effort to "shine a light" on child abuse and neglect.
