Police ID Driver who Died after High-Speed Chase

State Troopers have identified the man who lead police on a high speed chase on Interstate 65 on Labor Day.

State troopers say 39-year-old Ricky Eddins of Crossville lead police on a 23 minute chase.

Eddins died after being injured during the pursuit.  He also hit two Greenville Police patrol cars and a State Trooper patrol car.

Authorities say they don't know why Eddins led them on the high speed chase.
