By Alabama News Network

A blood drive in Pike County aimed to raise awareness for pediatric cancer.

LifeSouth blood centers were outside of the First National Banks in Troy and Brundidge. All blood donations were in honor of Hadley May, a daughter of a bank employee who died at the age of 3.

Hadley was diagnosed with a type of muscle cancer when she was just a few months old.

If you missed this blood drive you are still encouraged to give blood in honor of Hadley. For more information visit: http://lifesouth.org/
