Owners of Brantley Mobile Home Park are looking for volunteers to help clean up debris from tornadoes that swept through Troy on Christmas Day and destroyed four mobile homes.

The storms affected eleven families, according to Melody Lecroy, owner of Brantley Mobile Home Park. "Most of the people did not have insurance, so it's going to be a big burden on everyone to get it al cleaned up," said Lecroy.

Lecroy says volunteers can bring shovels, chainsaws, and other equipment to help pick up debris and cut down tree limbs. She says the park must finish cleaning up before other repairs can begin. "We're just going to start down here with trash bags, rakes, whatever people come with, and we'll just start down here, and get as much done as we can."

The volunteer cleaning day is scheduled for Saturday at 8 A.M. at Brantley Mobile Home Park off U.S. 231 in Troy.
