City of Troy Warns Residents About Water LevelsFrom the CBS 8 Troy Newsroom-- Troy residents are being asked to change their watering habits to prevent water shortages this summer. Water Superintendent Mike Davis says the city hasn't received enough rain to replenish supplies. He's requesting all residents follow the odd-even outdoor watering schedule. If your address is an even number, you water on even days of the month. If it's an odd number, you water on odd days of the month. "Well we never want to come to mandatory outside watering stoppage, but you never know. We're not at that point," Davis says. "We hope we won't get at that point. We hope the lord will provide us rain from outside and everything will be good." Right now, the city is pumping five million gallons per day. It can pump up to six million. Most Viewed
