Fire Destroys Pike Co. Home

From the CBS 8 Troy Newsroom-- A home goes up in flames this afternoon in Pike County.

Brundidge Volunteer firefighters responded to the blaze on County Road 5518 around 1 p.m.

Fire officials say it took several hours to put out.

The family says it was hard to watching all of their belongings burn.

Investigators are still trying to figure out what caused the fire.

No one was injured.
