Commissioner Oren Fannin of District 5 donated $800 to Goshen High School today.

Fannin says he didn't know the school was in need of so many supplies until he saw our story.

He says the money comes from his discretionary funds.

"I just think it's a good way to use this money," Fannin says. "You have to put it out there to try to help the public and help the school. Also, help the seniors and helping the community is what it's all about."

Principal Warren Weeks says he'll sit down with teachers to discuss where the money should go, but he knows part of it will buy a stove for their Agriculture Academy.
