Troy Police Arrest Man Who Allegedly Raped Two Women

 From the CBS 8 Troy Newsroom-- Troy Police have arrested a man they say raped two women on the same day in the same neighborhood.

Police say they arrested 35-year-old Andre Ellis Wednesday night on two rape first degree charges and a burglary second degree charge.

They say they arrested Ellis on the 200 block of U.S. Highway 231 at Percision Auto & Transmission.

Investigators say Ellis attacked and raped two women within hours of each other on March 26 at Hunter's Mountain Mobile Estates off U.S. Highway 231.

Police say Ellis is in the Troy City Jail, but will eventaully be transferred to the Pike County Jail.

They say Ellis was also arrested for failing to appear in court and has no bond in connection with that charge.
