From the CBS 8 Troy Newsroom-- Troy Police say they're looking for a group of men in connection with a home invasion that happened Wednesday night off U.S. Highway 231.

They say the men were armed when they broke into the home in Suntrace Mobile Home Park.

Investigators say one resident was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Police say money, jewelry, electronics and the victims' car were stolen.

"This is a crime of opportunity, and the suspects in this case I feel like knew the individuals, not necessarily by name, but probably were close to them," says Sgt. Benny Scarbrough with Troy Police.

Police say they have recovered the victim's car in Banks on Highway 29 Thursday afternoon.
