From the CBS 8 Troy Newsroom-- More than 700 Troy University students walked the stage in their cap and gown today.

Two spring commencements were held on Troy's campus in Sartain Hall.

The graduating class represents 26 states and nine countries.

Parents say it's exciting seeing their child reach a milestone.

"I am so proud of him. He was one of the drum majors of the Sound of the South this year, and he is graduating with a Bachelors in Music Education, so I'm just a nervous mom waiting to see him walk across the stage!" says Gina Skinner.

The oldest graduate was 63, and the youngest was 19.
