Troy Woman Injured in House Fire

wo Troy families are left homeless and a woman is hospitalized after a house fire in Troy.

Fire crews arrived at the Brundidge Boulevard home just after 11:00 Friday morning. Three people were inside the home at the time. Two escaped without injury. Rescue crews say a third woman escaped the flames by breaking her second-story window. She was taken to a Birmingham hospital with cuts and burns. Police say her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Fire officials say the cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
