Two men are dead after a Sunday night shooting in Pike County just outside of Brundidge. According to Sheriff Russell Thomas, it happened around 7:30 in the 1400 block of Highway 125.

According to the investigators, Adrian McClendon of Ozark kicked his way into the home, which was occupied by four people, including Terrence Casrell of Brundidge. Sheriff's officials say McClendon began shooting at Casrell, who returned gunfire.

Both men were shot twice and died at the scene. Thomas says they are currently working to uncover a motive for the killing. It's not clear how the two men knew one another. None of the other people in the home were injured.
