Update:Troy Murder Suspect, Surroy Wheeler Returns to Troy MondayThe man charged with the murder of 29-year old Melissa Shipman is returning to Troy. On Monday Novemeber 12th, 34-year old Suroy Manquel Wheeler will be transported from the Ventura County Jail in California and returned to Troy to face the murder charges against him.
According to Troy Police, Wheeler shot and killed Shipman at her Troy Villa Apartment on Henderson Street on October 27th.
Wheeler was later arrested in California. His bond has been set at $100,000.
