Wreck Kills Pike Co. Man, Injures Three Others

A Pike County man is dead and three others are injured after a Tuesday evening car crash.

State troopers say 54-year-old Willie Earl Taylor was killed when the car he was riding in ran off the roadway, overturned and struck two unoccupied vehicles.

The crash happened just after 6:00 p.m. last night on County Road 2243.

The driver, 21-year-old Antony Earl Finney, Junior of Troy and two other passengers were taken to the Troy Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

The crash is still under investigation, but troopers say speed was a factor.
