SELMA, Ala. (AP) - Two juveniles have been charged with starting a blaze that destroyed one abandoned home in Selma and damaged another.

Police Sgt. Kendal Thomas said witnesses provided a description of two suspects who had been seen around the house Tuesday.

Investigators located the two young males a few blocks away from the site of the blaze. Thomas said that both boys admitted setting the fire when they were questioned by police.

They have been charged with first-degree and second-degree arson and were being held at the Dallas County Juvenile Detention Center.
