ABI Investigating Lowndes Co. Homicide

A shooting in Lowndes County leaves one man dead and another facing a murder charge.
Authorities say 33 year old Willie Earl Scott of Ft. Deposit was shot and killed early Sunday morning.
"He was a very good person. He ain't never bothered nobody. Only thing he ever did was smile," said the victim's sister Janie Thigpen.
It happened on McCall Road-- about 5 miles east of Hayneville.
Twenty-six year old Brandon Rudolph of Letohatchie was arrested and charged with murder.
The Alabama Bureau of Investigation is conducting the investigation into the homicide.
