Authorities Recover Body from Alabama River

From the CBS 8 West Alabama Newsroom-- Authorities in Dallas County recover the body of a Gilbertown man who fell into the Alabama River while fishing this weekend. Deputies say the body of 71 year Connie Lee Johnson was discovered floating in the river yesterday evening just north of Chilatchie Creek. They say Johnson fell into the river while jug-fishing with a friend Saturday afternoon-- and never came back up. The men had been camping at the Chilatchie Creek Campground in Wilcox County.
