Selma police say an employee at the business Butler Truax, Daniel Mielke, is charged with first degree theft after stealing more than $2,500 from the company.

Police say Mielke would order parts for jewelry and other repairs through the company and keep the money for the repaired items and not reimburse the company for the parts or money.

Mielke's bond is set at $150,000
