New Program Helps High School Students Find Jobs

 A new statewide initiative could help pave the way for good paying high tech jobs for thousands of Alabama high school students.

   The Alabama Future Workforce Initiative will provide millions of dollars to fund the Career Tech Dual Enrollment Scholarship Program in 20-15.
   The initiative is funded by a 5-million dollar state appropriation --
      Dual enrollment programs allows high school students to earn both high school and college credits at the same time in approved courses of study.
    A new tax credit that could generate millions more for the program.
