From the West Alabama Newsroom--  A new service offered at the Selma-Dallas County Public Library will let people enjoy a library book -- anytime and anywhere.

E-books will be available through the library starting June 1st. People will be able to use their library card to download e-books to a computer, smart phone or other devices.

Library Director Becky Nichols says the new service is a fresh new way to enjoy the public library.

"You can enjoy five titles for up to two weeks, you don't have to returning the book because it will disappear from your device, no overdue library books," said Nichols.

Nichols says 18,000 digital book titles will be available for download. For more information visit www.selmalibrary.org.
