Fatal Accident Involving Dallas Co. School Bus
One person is dead after a two-vehicle accident involving a school bus in Dallas County.
School officials say the accident happened on Highway 5 in Safford Monday afternoon. They say bus had stopped and was unloading students when it was rear-ended by a pick-up truck. Sixteen students were on the bus at the time of the accident. "All 16 were transported to Vaughan Regional Medical Center just to be checked out to make sure that there were no injuries. Many of them were shaken up but there were no serious injuries," said Dallas Co. Schools Communication Director David Hagood.
