From the West Alabama Newsroom-- Law enforcement teams conduct raids in the city of Marion for the second day in a row.

Authorities say several more arrests have been made during day two of the round-up. They're looking for a total of 40 wanted suspects who've been indicted on drug -- gun -- and other charges.

Fifteen people were arrested during raids Wednesday.

"A lot drug dealers had set up shop in Perry County. They thought the money was good. They were being greedy in a little small town. They didn't think anything was going to happen and of course something has happened," said Perry Co. District Attorney Michael Jackson.

The raids are the result of indictments handed down after a two-year undercover investigation.
