Missing Selma Teen Two Years Later

By George McDonald

From the CBS 8 West Alabama Newsroom-- It's been two years since Selma teenager Tarasha Benjamin disappeared without a trace-- but neither the family nor investigators have given up hope. Tarasha Benjamin left home to go shopping Saturday, June 26th 2010-- and hasn't been seen since. Police say every lead over the past two years has turned up nothing-- but the case remains open and active. Pamela Blocton is Tarasha's aunt. "It's been horrible. Everyday to wake up and miss a loved one and not know where they're at, what they're going through, what happened," said Blocton. "We need to know what happened to Tarasha, we need to know." Anyone with information call Selma Police at 874-21-25.
