More Charges for Dallas Co. Woman Convicted in Murder for Hire Plot

From the West Alabama Newsroom--  A Dallas County woman already in prison in connection with a murder for hire plot - pleads guilty to more charges.

Marie Billingsley pleaded guilty to two counts of solicitation to commit assault, and sentenced to 22 and a half years in prison.

Billingsley was accused of trying to get someone to disfigure the judge and the investigator from the murder for hire case in which she was found guilty of taking out an insurance policy on a woman without her knowledge - and then trying to have the woman killed.

She was already serving a 21 year sentence in that case.
