New Charges for Selma Woman Convicted of Murder for Hire

A Selma woman convicted of murder for hire and insurance fraud is facing new charges.

Marie Billingsley has been indicted by the attorney general's office on 4 new charges of trying to have a judge and an investigator maimed or murdered.

Billingsley faces a potential life sentence for solicitation to commit murder and two 15-year sentences for solicitation to commit first degree assualt.

She is already serving 21 years for the previous convictions.
