Plane Makes Emergency Landing in Dallas Co. Cotton FieldFrom the CBS 8 West Alabama Newsroom-- The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the circumstances surrounding an emergency airplane landing in a cotton field in Dallas County.
Dallas County Sheriff Harris Huffman says the plane was having trouble out of one it's twin engines. "The biggest thing is is that nobody was hurt. You hear of a lot of small aircrafts now, especially in the last couple of months where they have crashed and killed everybody on board. Obviously the pilot was a good pilot, He had a good Co-Pilot," said Huffman. The airplane has now been transported to Craig Field to be inspected and repaired. |
