An argument at one Selma nightclub escalated into gun fire early Saturday morning.
Selma Police tell CBS 8 News that around 3:00 a.m., 21-year-old Amorian Smith was asked to leave the Downtown Sports Bar after a disagreement.
Investigators say Smith then went to his car, got a gun and started firing into the bar from the street.
Smith sustained life threatening injuries after being shot back at by a nightclub security guard.
He was transported to a Montgomery area hospital. No update Sunday night on his condition.
This is not Smith's first run-in with the law, but police are unable to release his criminal record.
