Selma police have been involved in a fatal shooting tonight.

Officers say they were called to a disturbance in the 300 block of Tenth Avenue just before 6:30 p.m..

Investigators say an officer did have to shot and kill a person. There's no word on if it was a man or woman.

Because the shooting involved an officer, the investigation has been turned over to the ABI.
