A trial date has been set for triple-murder suspect, Deandra Lee...

District Attorney, Charlotte Tesmer, says Lee's trial will start April 7. Lee is charged with killing 9-year-old twins, Taylor and Jordan Dejerinett and their babysitter, 73-year-old Jack Girdner in 2012.

They were found shot to death when their bodies were discovered on a dirt road near Hayneville.

"Because of the multiple killings, because of the children being killed , [and] because of the robbery during the murders is why we're seeking the death penalty," Said Tesmer.

Lee was arraigned on six counts of capital murder last month. He pleaded Not-Guilty.
