From the West Alabama Newsroom--  Triple murder suspect Deandra Lee was arraigned on six counts of capital murder Monday morning at the Lowndes County Courthouse in Hayneville.

Lee pleaded Not-Guilty on all six counts then he was removed from the courtroom.
The charges stem from the shooting deaths of 9-year-old twins Taylor and Jordan Dejerinett -- and their 73-year-old babysitter, Jack Girdner.

Lowndes County District Attorney Charlotte Tesmer says she plans to seek the death penalty in case.

"These children didn't deserve what they got, Mr. Girdner did not, he was an elderly man and the crimes just lend themselves to the death penalty," said Tesmer.

Tesmer said Lee is also facing several other charges unrelated to the murders -- including promoting prison contraband.

Lee is being held in the Autauga County Jail on $3-million dollars bond.
