Violent and Deadly Week in Selma

From the West Alabama Newsroom--  The past few days have been violent and deadly in the city of Selma. There have been three shootings in the city in less than a week-- and four people killed over the weekend.

Three people were killed Sunday when off-duty Selma police officer Dwight Moorer shot and killed his ex-girlfriend and her stepfather -- then killed himself.
The victims in that shooting have been identified as 28 year old Keoshia L. Hill and 59 year old Bill Jackson.

Twenty-seven year old Antonio Boykin was shot and killed Saturday at a residence on the 300 block of King Street. Selma Police Chief William Riley says Boykin was pronounced dead at the scene. "An unknown black male was seen running from the residence at the time of the shooting," said Riley.

In a third shooting, Arthur Lee Sanders, Junior and Rakeim Tyshawn McNeil are wanted by police for discharging a firearm into an occuppied dwelling on the 1500 block of LL Anderson on Thursday.
