Wilcox Co. Residents Voice Concerns About Road Conditions
By Alabama News Network

Some Wilcox County residents say they want something done about the condition of the road they live on.

About a dozen families live along Wilcox County Road 16 near Pine Apple. Residents say the road is full of bumps and potholes and it's tearing up their vehicles. They say whenever it rains - the road usually washes out.

"We have been asking for someone to get out here and at least try to repair this road. It hasn't been done and that's not fair. I'm a taxpayer. Everybody that's within this community is a taxpayer," said Elsie Gilford.

County officials say the road is scheduled for service but crews can only service them one at a time.
