Alabama Boys All-Stars Defeat Mississippi 87-76

Wenonah forward De'Runnya Wilson posted 15 points and 11 rebounds to lead Alabama to an 87-76 win in the 23rd Annual Alabama-Mississippi boys All-Star Classic.
   
Alabama held a 20-point lead midway through the second half, but Mississippi battled back to 80-74 with 1:30 remaining. Alabama finished the game on a 7-0 run to win for the second year in a row and take a 12-11 series lead.
   
Wilson, a Mississippi State signee, scored 11 points in the first half and earned Alabama MVP honors. G.W. Carver's Jeremy Johnson, an Auburn football signee, led Alabama with 17 points and 10 rebounds.
   
Memphis signee Sam Craft from Olive Branch earned the Mississippi MVP with an 11-point, seven-rebound performance.
   
Meridian's Torlorf Thomas and Callaway's TreShawn Bolden each added 11 points for Mississippi.
   
Tyler Madison, a UAB signee from Shelby County, scored 13 points and Samford signee Brandon Roberts from West Morgan added 12.
