TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - Replacing All-Americans and NFL first-round talent has become an annual rite of spring for Nick Saban and Alabama.

This year is no different. The Crimson Tide must replace three potential first-rounders, including Butkus Award-winning linebacker C.J. Mosley, plus Heisman Trophy runner-up quarterback AJ McCarron.

Center Ryan Kelly says taking that challenge on is "the Bama way." Kelly replaced Outland Trophy winner Barrett Jones last season. He says Tide players know they're expected to uphold the standard.

Alabama has produced  11 first-round draft picks over the last three years, many of them leaving after their junior seasons.

The battles for the upcoming season have just begun.

At quarterback, Florida State transfer Jake Coker will enter the competition this summer.

Alabama has a string of No. 1-rated recruiting classes to draw from.
