CBS 8 Sports Analyst John Longshore joined Sports Director Dee Jackson at Auburn's Jordan-Hare Stadium on CBS 8 News at 6:00 to talk about college football.

Both the Auburn Tigers and the Alabama Crimson Tide start football season on Sept. 1. Bama faces Michigan in Arlington, Texas, while Auburn plays Clemson in Atlanta.

Longshore talked about both teams' prospects for the season and how pre-season practices are going.
