Tuskegee University hires new Athletic Director

Tuskeegee University has announced that Patric Simon has been hired as Tuskegee's new athletic director.

Simon comes from Langston University in Oklahoma where he was athletic director. He will replace Alvin Jackson who had been the AD at Tuskegee since February 2010.

Simon had a combined total of 10 conference championships at Langston and the University was ranked the No. 1 Historically Black University and College in the NAIA in Director's Cup standings. Student-athlete GPA at Langston also rose to its highest percentage in over a decade.
