James, Heat start tuning for East finalsMIAMI (AP) — LeBron James took a few moments Thursday night to savor the end of a tough series with the Indiana Pacers. On Friday, much of the day was about resting and relaxing with family. On Saturday, the reigning MVP and the Miami Heat went back to work. The Roman numerals XVI are embossed on the mouthguard James is wearing in the playoffs, and it doesn't take much to decipher what that is supposed to signify. It's 16, the number of wins the Heat would need to capture the championship. Miami has the first eight of those out of the way, and will host Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals on Monday night against either Philadelphia or Boston. |
