After initially refusing to stop, Fairley pulled over and seemed impaired. He was arrested without incident. LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Corey Lanerie rode six winners at Churchill Downs yesterday, a career high for the veteran jockey. He won with six of seven mounts, including the $45,168 feature race by 4 1/4 lengths aboard Professor Fate. Lanerie is a 37-year-old from Lafayette, La. JONESBORO, Ark. (AP) — Justin Stawychny singled in the go-ahead run and Les Aulds scored when he was hit by a pitch to lead Louisiana-Monroe to a 4-2 victory over Arkansas State and the Sun Belt Conference Baseball Tournament title. The Red Wolves held a 2-1 lead after seven innings yesterday, but the Warhawks rallied in the eighth. |
