BALTIMORE (AP) — The Baltimore Orioles have reshuffled their pitching staff, promoting starter Tommy Hunter from Triple-A, demoting Jake Arrieta to the bullpen and sending reliever Miguel Gonzalez to the minors.

Manager Buck Showalter announced the moves. Hunter was recalled from Norfolk to start Saturday's game against Philadelphia. The right-hander is 2-3 with a 5.59 ERA in 10 starts for Baltimore this year.

Arrieta was the Orioles' starter on opening day. He was pulled from the rotation a day after losing his sixth straight decision. The Phillies tagged him for career highs of nine runs and 11 hits in four innings, leaving the righty at 2-8 with a 6.32 ERA.

Gonzalez made his major league debut on May 29. The righty was 0-0 with a 2.45 ERA in two games.
