Graham and his Atlanta counterpart, veteran tight end Tony Gonzalez, both were superb in a game that showcased all the intensity of one of the NFL's most passionate rivalries. WACO, Texas (AP) — Pierre Jackson had 25 points and seven assists for Baylor, and the Bears rolled to a 78-47 victory over Jackson State on Sunday. Jackson, the senior guard named the preseason Big 12 player of the year, scored the game's first five points — on a free throw, a jumper and a tip-in in the first 3 minutes — and the Bears never trailed. ALCORN, Miss. (AP) — Alcorn State beat Oakwood 85-41 Sunday in the season opener for the Braves. Oakwood, who plays out of the United States Collegiate Athletic Association, counted the game as an exhibition match. AVONDALE, Ariz.
