Texans LB Reed leaves vs. Lions with groin injury
DETROIT (AP) — Houston linebacker Brooks Reed has left its game against the Detroit Lions with a groin injury. His return is questionable.
Reed appeared to be favoring his left leg as he gingerly walked toward the sideline in the first quarter Thursday. He later was carted toward the locker room. The Texans were already down a linebacker because starter Tim Dobbins was inactive because of a shoulder problem.
Reed has 2.5 sacks after contributing six last season as a rookie.
